1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Seedream Studio ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting.

2. Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address and verify your phone number to access generation features. One account per person.

3. Credits & Payments

Seedream Studio uses a credit-based system. Credits come as subscription credits, which refresh each billing cycle, and one-time purchased credits, which never expire. Seedream 4.5 and Seedream 5 Lite cost 50 credits per image generation. Seedream 5 Pro costs 75 credits at its Standard size tier and 100 credits at its High size tier. New verified accounts receive75 free credits.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and we do not store your payment card details. Credits are non-transferable. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If a generation fails due to a system error, the credits spent on that generation are automatically refunded to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
• Depicts the sexual exploitation of minors
• Constitutes harassment, threats, or incitement to violence
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonates real individuals without their consent
• Is designed to deceive or defraud

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without refund.

5. Generated Content & Ownership

You retain rights to the images you generate using the Service, subject to these terms. You may use generated images for personal and commercial purposes. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of generated images complies with applicable laws.

We do not claim ownership of your generated images. We do not use your images or prompts to train AI models. We may retain generated images on our servers for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seedream Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data, images, and remaining credits will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. In cases of severe violations, termination may be immediate and without refund.
